How do I create my first bio page?

Last updated on September 23, 2026

Open Dashboard › Link-in-bio, choose Create, give the page a name and an address, and you have a live page. Everything after that is editing.

Step by step

  1. Open the Link-in-bio section It is in the left menu of your dashboard. On a phone, tap the menu button first.
  2. Choose Create The Create button sits at the top right of the dashboard and offers a link-in-bio page, a QR code or a short link. Pick the first.
  3. Name the page This is for you, not for visitors — it is how the page is labelled in your dashboard. "My page" is fine.
  4. Pick your address The part after the slash is what people will type or tap. Choose carefully, because it is what you will be printing on cards and putting in profiles. See choosing an address.
  5. Let the assistant start you off, or begin empty Describing yourself in a sentence gets you a page with blocks already in place, which is usually faster than starting from nothing. You can change or delete every part of it.
  6. Add and arrange blocks Each thing on the page is a block. Add them, drag them into the order you want, and edit them in place.
  7. Look at it as a visitor would Use Preview, or just open your address in another tab. What looks fine in the editor sometimes reads differently on the page itself.

What to put on it first

A page with three good blocks beats a page with twelve. Most pages that work have the same shape: who you are, the one thing you most want people to do, and then everything else.

  • A photo and a line of textSo a visitor knows within a second that they are in the right place
  • Your most important link firstWhatever you would pick if you were only allowed one
  • Two or three moreYour other channels, your shop, a way to contact you
Your page is live immediatelyThere is no publish step to forget. As soon as it exists, the address works — which also means it is worth previewing before you share it anywhere.

Next: the blocks you can add and designing the page.
