How do I design my bio page?

Last updated on September 23, 2026

Open the page in the editor and use the design settings to pick a theme, set your colours, choose button shapes and add your photo. Every change previews immediately, and nothing you change is permanent.

What you can change

  • ThemeA starting point — colours, background and button style in one choice
  • ColoursBackground, text and buttons, each set individually
  • ButtonsSquare, rounded or pill, with or without a shadow
  • AvatarYour photo or logo at the top of the page
  • FontsThe typeface used across the page

Making it readable

Most bio pages are read on a phone, outdoors, one-handed, by somebody who is half paying attention. Three things matter more than the rest:

  1. Contrast between text and background Pale grey text on white looks elegant on a laptop in a dark room and disappears entirely on a phone in sunlight.
  2. Buttons that look tappable A button that is the same colour as the background reads as decoration. If everything is emphasised, nothing is.
  3. One accent colour, not five Pick a colour for the thing you most want tapped, and let the rest be quiet.
Check it in both light and darkPhones switch themselves to dark mode in the evening. A colour scheme that only works on a white background will spend half its life looking wrong.

Going further

Paid plans add custom CSS for complete control of the page's appearance, a custom favicon, and the option to remove the small gomy•bio credit from the footer. None of them are needed for a page that looks good — they are for when you want it to look like nothing else.
