To enable payouts and keep the platform safe for everyone, Stripe will ask you to verify a few things — this is standard for any payment provider, not specific to gomy•bio:
- Your full name and address
- A government-issued ID (for identity verification)
- Your bank account or debit card details (so Stripe knows where to send your money)
All of this information goes directly to Stripe over an encrypted connection. gomy•bio never sees, stores, or has access to your banking details or ID — Stripe is a PCI-compliant, independently regulated payment company trusted by millions of businesses worldwide, including companies like Amazon and Shopify.
Your sale price is deducted a small platform commission automatically at checkout (see the pricing article for the exact percentage) — the rest is transferred to your Stripe balance and paid out to your bank on Stripe's normal payout schedule.
