How do I add gifts to my Gift Shop?

Go to My Gift Shop in your dashboard. Click Add a Gift to browse the catalog. Search or scroll to find an item, then tap it. Set your price and, optionally, write your own description for buyers to see. Confirm to add it to your shop. The item's name and picture come from the catalog and can't be changed, but the price and description are entirely up to you. Once you have gifts in your shop, add the Gift Shop block to your bio page (from the bio page editor's "Add Link or Content" menu) so visitors can actually see and buy them. You can pause, resume, or remove any gift at any time from My Gift Shop, and edit its price or description whenever you like.

How do I create a Stripe account?

Stripe is the payment platform that handles your gift sales securely and sends the money straight to your bank — we never touch it. If you don't have a Stripe account yet, here's how to set one up: Go to stripe.com and click Sign up (or, easier, just click Connect Stripe from your Gift Shop — Stripe will let you create a new account right in that flow, you don't need to visit their site first). Enter your email, name, and a password, then verify your email address. Stripe will ask for some basic details about you or your business — see the next article for exactly what's needed and why. Once your account is created, come back to your My Gift Shop dashboard page and click Connect Stripe to link it (if you haven't already done this as part of sign-up). Creating a Stripe account is free, and there's no cost to you beyond Stripe's own standard payment processing fees, which are deducted automatically from each sale before the money reaches your bank.

How do I connect my Stripe account to my Gift Shop?

Go to My Gift Shop in your dashboard. Click Connect Stripe. You'll be taken to Stripe's own secure page. Log in to an existing Stripe account, or create a new one on the spot. Follow Stripe's prompts to confirm your details. You'll be redirected back to gomy.bio automatically once you're done. Right after connecting, your account will usually show as "pending activation" while Stripe finishes verifying your details — this is normal and usually only takes a few minutes. Your Gift Shop will automatically switch to fully active as soon as Stripe confirms everything, no action needed from you. You can disconnect your Stripe account at any time from the same page if you ever need to link a different one.

What information will Stripe ask for, and is it secure?

To enable payouts and keep the platform safe for everyone, Stripe will ask you to verify a few things — this is standard for any payment provider, not specific to gomy.bio: Your full name and address A government-issued ID (for identity verification) Your bank account or debit card details (so Stripe knows where to send your money) All of this information goes directly to Stripe over an encrypted connection. gomy.bio never sees, stores, or has access to your banking details or ID — Stripe is a PCI-compliant, independently regulated payment company trusted by millions of businesses worldwide, including companies like Amazon and Shopify. Your sale price is deducted a small platform commission automatically at checkout (see the pricing article for the exact percentage) — the rest is transferred to your Stripe balance and paid out to your bank on Stripe's normal payout schedule.

How much commission does gomy.bio take?

gomy.bio keeps a small platform commission on each gift sale, automatically deducted at checkout — you never have to invoice anyone or transfer money manually. You can see the exact current rate on your My Gift Shop page, in the "Get paid instantly, straight to you via Stripe" panel before you connect Stripe. The remainder of the price you set is yours, sent straight to your Stripe balance for every sale. On top of the platform commission, Stripe's own standard payment processing fee also applies, the same as it would for any online payment — this is set by Stripe, not by gomy.bio.

When and how do I get paid?

Money from gift sales goes directly to your own connected Stripe account — gomy.bio never holds your funds at any point. As soon as a buyer completes a purchase, the sale amount (minus the platform commission) is available in your Stripe balance. From there, payouts to your bank account follow your Stripe account's own payout schedule, which you can view and adjust anytime from your Stripe Dashboard (Stripe typically pays out on a rolling daily, weekly, or monthly basis depending on your account and country). You can review all of your individual gift sales at any time from My Sales in your dashboard.

How do exclusive content unlocks work?

Any gift listing can have exclusive content attached — a text message, a link, or an image — that's automatically revealed to whoever buys it. To attach exclusive content to a gift: Go to My Gift Shop. Open the gift you want to add content to. Choose a content type (text, link, or image) and fill it in. Save — buyers will now see it immediately after paying. For buyers: if you're signed in when you buy a gift, the unlocked content is saved permanently to your My Unlocks library so you can come back to it anytime. If you check out as a guest, you'll see the content once on the confirmation page right after payment, so make sure to save it then.

What is the Gift Shop?

The Gift Shop lets your followers and visitors support you directly by buying virtual gifts right from your bio page — no separate store, no extra app. Here's how it fits together: You pick items from a curated gift catalog (things like a Rocket, Trophy, Heart, and dozens more) and set your own price for each one. The gifts appear on your public bio page as a small "Gift Shop" block. Visitors tap a gift to see the details and buy it. Payment is handled by Stripe and goes straight to your own Stripe account — the platform never holds your money. You can optionally attach exclusive content (a message, a link, or an image) to any gift, unlocked automatically for whoever buys it. To get started, go to My Gift Shop in your dashboard, connect Stripe, and add your first gift from the catalog.
