Facebook (Meta) Pixel

Last updated on September 13, 2026

The Meta pixel records what visitors do after they arrive from Facebook or Instagram, so you can measure conversions and build remarketing audiences.

Finding your pixel ID

In Meta Events Manager, open Data sources and select your pixel. The ID is shown under its name — 15 or 16 digits, no letters.

e.g. 1234567890123456

Copy the number exactlyA single wrong digit means events are quietly attributed to someone else's pixel, or to nothing at all. Nothing in the interface will warn you.

Adding it to gomybio

  1. Open Pixels Go to Dashboard › Pixels in the sidebar.
  2. Add a pixel Select Add Pixel.
  3. Name it Give it a name you will recognise later, such as "Facebook – main". The name is only for you; visitors never see it.
  4. Choose the provider Pick Facebook from the Provider list, then paste the ID you copied.
  5. Save it The pixel is now stored, but it is not firing yet — a pixel only runs on the pages you attach it to.
  6. Attach it Open any short link or bio page, find its Pixels setting, and tick this pixel. Use View Links on the Pixels screen to see everywhere it is already attached.
Check it is really firingInstall the Meta Pixel Helper browser extension and open your link. It lists the pixel IDs firing on the page.
A note on consentTracking pixels set cookies in your visitors' browsers. If you have visitors in the EU or UK, keep the cookie banner enabled so analytics scripts only run once a visitor accepts them.
