Question 1

What happens when I delete my account?

Accepted Answer

Deleting your account cancels your subscription and permanently erases your data from our servers. It cannot be undone, and your links stop working immediately. This is permanentThere is no restore, no grace period and no backup we can retrieve for you afterwards. If you are unsure, downgrade to the free plan instead — that keeps everything in place at no cost. Redirect what is in print Anything on a business card, poster or packaging will break. Point those codes somewhere useful before you delete. Tell your audience If your bio page is the link in your social profiles, replace it first so followers do not land on an error. Check your alias Once released, your page name becomes available for someone else to claim. Deleting The option is in Account menu › Settings. How will I be charged?

You are charged once at the start of each billing period, automatically, on the card you used at checkout — until you cancel. The billing cycle WhenAt the start of each period How oftenMonthly or yearly, whichever you chose RenewalAutomatic, on the same date each period ProcessorStripe, using the card on file If you subscribe on the 9th, a monthly plan renews on the 9th of each following month and a yearly plan renews on the 9th of the same month next year. Payment is taken without you having to do anything. Where to see your charges Open Billing Go to Account menu › Billing. Review the history Every payment is listed with its date and amount. Download an invoice Open any payment to get an invoice you can file or send to your accountant. If a payment fails Cards expire and banks decline things. If a renewal does not go through, the payment is retried and you are emailed about it — so the first thing to do is check the email address on your account is one you actually read. Update your card Add a valid card under Account menu › Billing. Check for a block Some banks decline online subscriptions by default; a quick call usually clears it. Ask us If it still will not go through, open a support ticket and we will look at what the processor reported. Never send card details to usWe will never ask for your card number, CVV or password — not by email, not in a support ticket. Card details belong only on Stripe's secure checkout form.

Google Ads Conversion Pixel

The Google Ads tag connects clicks on your ads to what people actually did afterwards, so the platform can report conversions and optimise bidding. Finding your conversion ID In Google Ads, go to Goals › Conversions, open the conversion action you want to track and choose Tag setup. The conversion ID begins with AW-. e.g. AW-123456789 Conversion ID and conversion labelSome setups also generate a label for a specific action. The ID above identifies your account and is the part that belongs here. Adding it to gomy.bio Open Pixels Go to Dashboard › Pixels in the sidebar. Add a pixel Select Add Pixel. Name it Give it a name you will recognise later, such as "Google Ads – main". The name is only for you; visitors never see it. Choose the provider Pick Google Ads from the Provider list, then paste the ID you copied. Save it The pixel is now stored, but it is not firing yet — a pixel only runs on the pages you attach it to. Attach it Open any short link or bio page, find its Pixels setting, and tick this pixel. Use View Links on the Pixels screen to see everywhere it is already attached. Check it is really firingUse the Google Tag Assistant extension, or watch the conversion action in Google Ads — it moves from "Unverified" once traffic arrives. AdRoll Pixel

AdRoll uses its pixel to build retargeting audiences and report conversions across the display and social networks it buys on your behalf. Finding your advertisable ID In AdRoll, open Settings › Pixel. The snippet contains an adroll_adv_id value — that is the identifier to copy. e.g. ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUV Two values in the snippetAdRoll's code also includes adroll_pix_id. The advertisable ID is the one that identifies your account. Adding it to gomy.bio Open Pixels Go to Dashboard › Pixels in the sidebar. Add a pixel Select Add Pixel. Name it Give it a name you will recognise later, such as "AdRoll – main". The name is only for you; visitors never see it. Choose the provider Pick AdRoll from the Provider list, then paste the ID you copied. Save it The pixel is now stored, but it is not firing yet — a pixel only runs on the pages you attach it to. Can I upgrade my account at any time?

Yes. You can move up a plan whenever you like, and the new limits apply immediately — there is no waiting period and nothing to rebuild. How to upgrade Open your plans Select Upgrade in the sidebar, or Account menu › Billing and then View plans. Compare the plans Each plan lists its limits side by side, so you can see exactly what changes. Choose a billing period Monthly or yearly. Yearly is billed once and works out cheaper per month. Pay securely Checkout is handled by Stripe. Your card details are entered on Stripe's own form and never touch our servers. Start using it The moment payment clears, your account is on the new plan. What happens to what you have already built Nothing is reset by an upgrade. Your bio pages, short links, QR codes, click history and followers all carry over untouched — you are only lifting the ceiling on what you can create. Existing linksKeep working, with the same URLs Your statisticsFull history is preserved Dynamic QR codesKeep the same codes; no reprinting Your bio pagesStay published throughout Downgrading later You can move to a smaller plan at the end of a billing period. Because a smaller plan has lower limits, check what you are using first — if you are over the new plan's allowance, decide which items to keep before the change takes effect. Google Tag Manager Pixel

Google Tag Manager lets you run all of your other tags — analytics, ads, remarketing — from one container, without editing anything here again. Finding your container ID Sign in to Google Tag Manager and look at the top of the workspace. The container ID sits beside the account name and always begins with GTM-. e.g. GTM-ABC1234 Container ID, not measurement IDA GA4 measurement ID looks like G-XXXXXXXXXX and belongs in a Google Analytics tag inside your container — not in this field.
