Google Tag Manager Pixel

Last updated on September 13, 2026

Google Tag Manager lets you run all of your other tags — analytics, ads, remarketing — from one container, without editing anything here again.

Finding your container ID

Sign in to Google Tag Manager and look at the top of the workspace. The container ID sits beside the account name and always begins with GTM-.

e.g. GTM-ABC1234

Container ID, not measurement IDA GA4 measurement ID looks like G-XXXXXXXXXX and belongs in a Google Analytics tag inside your container — not in this field.

Adding it to gomybio

  1. Open Pixels Go to Dashboard › Pixels in the sidebar.
  2. Add a pixel Select Add Pixel.
  3. Name it Give it a name you will recognise later, such as "Google Tag Manager – main". The name is only for you; visitors never see it.
  4. Choose the provider Pick Google Tag Manager from the Provider list, then paste the ID you copied.
  5. Save it The pixel is now stored, but it is not firing yet — a pixel only runs on the pages you attach it to.
  6. Attach it Open any short link or bio page, find its Pixels setting, and tick this pixel. Use View Links on the Pixels screen to see everywhere it is already attached.
Check it is really firingOpen Tag Manager and use Preview, then visit your link or bio page. The debug panel connects when the container is loading correctly.
A note on consentTracking pixels set cookies in your visitors' browsers. If you have visitors in the EU or UK, keep the cookie banner enabled so analytics scripts only run once a visitor accepts them.
